Provides programs and services for families of children with developmental delays or disabilities. Family support workers help families navigate education, community living, and the provincial child and youth health systems through informational group workshops and individual outreach services. Also advocates and facilitates access to external community resources, provides information specific to the needs of the child and family, coordinates peer support, and provides educational opportunities for parents, professionals, and the community.
